What to Expect with Coconut, Soy, and Sunflower Blend Wax Melts

What to Expect with Coconut, Soy, and Sunflower Blend Wax Melts

As I introduce my new coconut, soy, and sunflower wax blend, I wanted to take a moment to talk about how it behaves differently from my original para-soy blend. If you’ve been using my wax melts for a while, you may notice a few changes—but don’t worry, they’re all part of what makes this wax perform even better!

How This Wax is Different

  • A Slightly Harder Texture – This wax is firmer than my para-soy blend, which means it holds its shape better and is less prone to dents and smudges.
  • Easier to Remove from the Clamshell – One of the first things you’ll notice is that this wax shrinks slightly as it cools, pulling away from the edges of the clamshell. This makes popping out a cube super easy, no more struggling to break a piece free.
  • Melts to a Warm Yellow Hue – Unlike my original blend, which melts to a creamy white, this wax turns a soft, translucent yellow when warmed. This is completely normal and doesn’t affect the scent throw or performance in any way.
  • Stronger, Longer-Lasting Scent – Because this wax holds more fragrance, you may notice that your melts have a bolder, more intense scent throw compared to the para-soy blend.
  • Smoother Surface with a Slight Sheen – This wax tends to cool with a smoother, more polished surface, whereas para-soy sometimes has a frosted or slightly rougher look.
  • Melts at a Slightly Lower Temperature – Thanks to the coconut and sunflower wax content, this blend has a lower melting point, meaning it starts releasing fragrance a little faster once warmed.
  • Different Texture When Cooled – If you’re used to para-soy, you may notice this wax feels a bit more solid and less creamy when cold.

What’s Staying the Same?

  • High-Quality, Hand-Poured Melts – Every batch is still carefully made in small batches with the same attention to detail.
  • The Cozy, Nostalgic Scents You Love – No changes here, your favorite fragrances are just as rich and inviting as ever.
